Among our moderators for this event, one is the Leader of the Neuroleadership Interest Group in Hong Kong and three are currently completing a Post Graduate Certificate in the Neuroscience of Leadership.


Bruce Stinson
Bruce is the Leader of the Neuroleadership Interest Group in Hong Kong.
Bruce qualified as a pharmacist at the University of Sydney and practiced that profession for 20 years. He then obtained his training credentials whilst developing and delivering successful leadership training in Queensland, Australia.

Bruce moved to Hong Kong in 1994 and initially worked as a presenter on Cable TV and journalist for the Hong Kong Standard newspaper before moving back into the field of training.

Bruce’s passion for learning and development led him to establish the alphaeight institute in 2006 and bring together a team of advisers, researchers and facilitators to achieve the goal of developing and presenting best practice training, with a particular focus on leadership issues.

Bruce was recently the guest speaker at the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong where he spoke about the exciting new science of Neuroleadership.

Jeremy Stunt
Jeremy leads Limbic Human Capital, a specialist executive coaching and training firm.

Jeremy combines a unique blend of ontological coaching and neuroscience with over 20 years of personal leadership experience in demanding settings in the banking, finance and professional services sectors.

Jeremy anchors his soft skills in hard science by incorporating social cognitive neuroscience into his work with clients. He integrates neuroscience implicitly and explicitly into his training which includes courses on stress management, advanced listening skills and brain productivity.

In the last 18 months Jeremy has facilitated 100 courses in management and leadership effectiveness to 1,000 delegates in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, UAE and Saudi Arabia. He has also delivered talks on the application of neuroscience in leadership at regional conferences in Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau.

Alistair Lamont
Alistair has over 15 years experience in the HR consulting field where he has worked with a wide range of senior executives of all nationalities from many sectors.

Alistair has held senior Director positions in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He is a professionally Qualified Facilitator and Coach with over seven years of experience in designing, delivering and facilitating a wide variety of leadership solutions. Alistair’s area of expertise also includes designing and delivering leadership and team development projects that utilise Community Engagement (CSR) projects as an action learning tool to bring together regional and cross functional teams.

Stephanie Herd
Stephanie is Solutions &  Marketing Senior Manager at the alphaeight institute, corporate training centre. Her role is to use neuroscience knowledge to develop improved training solutions and enhance executives’ performance at the workplace.

Using neuroleadership, Stephanie has designed multiple training solutions such as the neuroscience of engagement or networking with the brain in mind.

Stephanie has a solid understanding of both cultural and business issues and helps clients to better understand the cross cultural communication gaps that can negatively affect business relationships and results. She has taught Business French and Etiquette at the Beijing Institute of Technology (Zhuhai Campus University, China) and has 8 years of experience in Sourcing and Marketing, working for both Chinese and European companies in Europe and Hong Kong.
