Anne Thiesen

Anne Thiesen has a wide range of experience in business consulting in both Europe and Asia. She is experienced in the fields of HR management and development, business consulting, business matching, market entry and marketing support and mediation.
In Hong Kong, Ms Thiesen has been the Executive Director of the German Industry and Commerce Chamber in Hong Kong and represented the Port of Hamburg Reg. Association (HHM) and the Hamburg Business Development Corporation (HWF). She has also represented DE International (harmonization and marketing of services provided by the global network of over 120 German Chambers worldwide).
After obtaining a Commerce degree at University of Passau, Germany, Ms Thiesen entered the work force with Dresdner Bank, initially in Frankfurt and then in Madrid and Milan.
Among her achievements in Germany prior to coming to Hong Kong, Ms Thiesen was the Manager of the Hamburg office of global executive search firm Boyden International and a Director of Berlitz Training and Services in Eschborn.
Coming from the German metropolitan city of Hamburg, Ms Thiesen is keenly receptive to different cultures and has, through various placements across Europe and Asia, acquired a number of languages including Spanish, Italian and French, as well as basic Mandarin.
