Hallo Magazine
“Thinking about Thinking” is the theme of the work of the alphaeight institute.
When did you last think about the way you think? It is amazing that we think about and look after our body very well – we feed, look after it, have treatment when it has a problem and perhaps do exercise to help it function better. Yet, with our mind we simply wake up in the morning, start it up, use it all day, and shut it down at night without ever thinking about it. Right?
Well, not exactly. It is true that we usually don’t think about our mind, but it is a lot more effective than the above statement would have us believe – it doesn’t even shut down at night, rather it keeps on working for us while we are asleep.
The alphaeight institute is devoted to researching and developing the latest strategies for teaching people how to use their minds much more effectively and thus achieve far better results in all areas of life…
“Our research and our training methods are based on science,” says the institute’s chairman, Bruce Stinson.
“We have an extensive Advisory Board which guides our work and the way we teach is guided by psychologists and experienced educators. There are ways for people to make much better use of their mind. For example, the institute teaches programme participants how to easily develop new habits. This is a primary tool for anyone wishing to make changes in life, but very few people know how to do it effectively.
“We also teach people to think creatively to make smarter decisions so they will not simply answer every challenge with the same response (a world-wide problem), but will instead come up with better ways to deal with situations in both work and personal life. In business, family and social life, the benefits of far better interaction are quite considerable.
“People have developed a very “narrow-focus” approach to the way they think. We all see examples of this every day as we deal with people over the counter, over the phone and in our homes and workplaces.”
The institute has a range of training programmes, all backed up by extensive follow-up to ensure learning outcomes and objectives are achieved. The impact is instantaneous and people immediately know how to get much more out of their thinking process and make those all-important smarter decisions.
“Like a breath of cool mountain air – I really needed that. Thank you very much” = was the response of one company director who recently brought his team to the institute to take part in the entry-level Silver Certificate Programme.
